Chemotherapy side effects: anaemia, weak immunity

What kind of illness is this? 

In TCM chemotherapy is considered a HOT medicine which scorches the fluids making the mouth feel dry and the patient feel exhausted. Gentle cold herbs are given to restore dryness and a small dose of gentle warm herbs are given to help the exhaustion. 

What are the symptoms? 

Tiredness, catching cold frequently, cold hands and feet, low mood.
